LITURGY

The purpose of this committee is to enhance the liturgy in many ways
so when people come to our church they will leave with a feeling of comfort, satisfaction, fulfillment and maybe even inspiration.

This plays out most often in the decorating of the church for the various seasonsof the church calendar, but also sees us working with the children on the monthly family liturgies, First Communion and May Crowning. It is very rewarding to watch the children learn about the different rituals and how they can participate in them to have a more meaningful experience for them and for all in attendance.

Decorating and participating in the special liturgies of Holy Thursday,
Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter, as well as at Christmas are some of the highlights of the year.
